Here comes my 1/72 Engage Octaver SR-1 from Silicon Tribe ,   Sculptured by 西山浩光 .   The 1/72 is slightly bigger than the 1/100 Volks / WCS at the time, and has really amazing details and lots characters from the sculputre.   

This is a recast that has been sitting on the shelf for about a good 12-15years ..   and I've decided to work on this slowly and it's so called finished after about 18month (it's more of me losing patients) . ..   some day would just be masking a piece of 2 in the late evening then my eyes got tired and opened a bottle of wine instead ..   

Nothing is particular challenging ..   typical procedures for prepping / sanding / masking / painting / masking / painting / masking and painting ...   Colour scheme is not difficult.   some part could've done smoother (was mixing several type of paint )    currently finished in semi-gloss,  the lacquer are sinking in and showing more characters ..  still debating if another layer of topcoat is require or not ..    we'll see ..
