62' AVRI Jazz bass from circa 1999, and here's a few thoughts about it!

Latest member of the family, the KBP5 from Alleva Coppolo.  

Get to have my hand on a 04' Fender Marcus Miller signature jazz bass that was made in Japan, and here's a few thoughts about it.  

Giving my thought or 2 about another bass... 

Beside the jazz or precision, the Musicman Stingray is probably the 3rd most popular electric bass out there.    Design by Leo Fender and Tom Walker and test  drive by Sterling Ball , the bass was introduced to the market in 1976 by Musicman, and later on the company  became Ernie Ball Musicman.

Holy grail of precision bass, made by Fender and named after the great Pino Palladino.

This is the first Coppolo bass from 2014, it was the terminal for the first chapter of my bass adventure, and about 3 years after, I traded it for a lg5 classic supreme thinking I'd be set with their most fancy offering.  The adventure moved on and the more fancy basses I played, the more I miss this one that started it all .   Not to the point that i'd call it a regret, but the more I tried and

my first thought of the roland gk pickup kit was just about drilling the extra side jack for the 13pin connector and drilling a tunnel under the hex pickup to the control cavity, something that i could mess around with my dremel tool.  apparently i was totally wrong after talking to mr. george furlanettl, the luthier who makes my bass.  and
