A lot of bass charts

This is probably my most mind blowing found on the internet.

A French bass player has gathered / transcribe a huge load of soul / rnb / funk songs ..

Gigging Essential

Being a freelance bass player for quiet a few years, loading everything in 1 trip had been my main goal when playing live and I think I've done it okay.  My setup started with an all tube Ampeg rig w/ 4x10" mini fridge and kept going down to a few little things.  Hopefully this can give you some idea when choosing gears!

EBMM Stingray Bass Featured

Beside the jazz or precision, the Musicman Stingray is probably the 3rd most popular electric bass out there.    Design by Leo Fender and Tom Walker and test  drive by Sterling Ball , the bass was introduced to the market in 1976 by Musicman, and later on the company  became Ernie Ball Musicman.

Pbass mod

Further mods on my favourite Pbass ..     OBP-3 on board preamp was installed years ago, and the 9v battery was squeezed into the cavity ...    things work ..  but replacing battery was always very difficult ..     thanks for my bass buddy Kurt for sourcing me some new toys, and it's time to mess around with the bass further ..

Objectives for the day are:

  1. Routing a proper battery case cavity
  2. Move the wiring for battery connector
  3. Install new pickup
