people don't too often get impressed by headphone amplifiers, it's one of the gadget you'll see in pretty much any studio will have at least a couple from $20 to $1000+, basically it split the input signal to multiple headphone outs with individual volume control. let's see what this little cassette tape looking box can do.

presonus just announced the 24 channels version of the studiolive mixer in the namm show, which is awesome. 16 channels is just slightly not enough for my applications. but now this is definitely one of the consideration for this year.

something exciting from the italian amplifier/speaker manufacture markaudio. they're the same group of people who makes the remarkable markbass amps. not sure if they're new or not, but this is definetly the speaker i'm looking into.

this ipod boombox rocks. i was in the local bestbuy store at the end a day. someone in the store cranked up this babe and i was shocked at the other corner of the store. it was loud yet sounding sweet.
