Jackie Y. C. Chen (aka. tree) is a bass player, song writer, arranger and studio/live sound engineer out of Toronto, Ontario. Jackie has studied bass extensively since late 90's and had been gigging actively ever since from the local indie scene into session playing. He has had the privilege to work with many many local and oversea artists such as

Studied audio recording engineering in Centennial College. Beside working at a Jazz radio station during the day, he writes, arrange and produces music at spare time.

Currently, Jackie does freelance session works and recording projects, both as a group and individual while gigging at a constant basis holding that deep low bass all around.

tree - toronto based bass player, audio engineer, cable winder arranger / song writer wannabe in the early 30' who currently works in jazz fm with the title of broadcast & networking engineer.  affliate of parliament music group that does sound/lighting for shows /events, and also play live music for any occasion.  recently gave up hobby modeling(this site was a model showcase in the beginning) as life is getting busier.  tree is the name of a comic character that i picked in those icq days and people started to call me that ever since.  my daily name is jackie chen.
